The OCEAN DMD/DMS submersible dredge pump is a type of vertical submersible pump designed to be mounted on dredgers or simple floating pontoons. Its primary function is to transport underwater sand, slurry, sludge, gravel, and other sediments to specified locations. This powerful centrifugal pump is engineered to operate submerged in the harshest conditions, effectively handling highly corrosive and abrasive slurries.
At the bottom of the submersible dredge pump, an agitator is installed to stir the water, increasing the solid concentration for more efficient dredging. Additionally, the pump can be equipped with a welded water nozzle to jet sand, enhancing its operational versatility. For particularly hard or sticky solid layers, the pump can be fitted with two or three extra agitators, further improving work efficiency and ensuring effective sediment transport.
